LinnWorks wanted to gain end-to-end control of their shipping process with a suite of shipping careers. Initially, Linnworks did not have a wide variety of carriers to choose from. Which forced customers to try other marketplaces. EasyPost, offered a solution by allowing access to their large library of shipping carriers. But, a conenction had to be made.
LIM chose resource augmentation to get this API developed. We provided a team of developers with 10+ years of experience in Laravel to build out middleware. For the MVP, the most important aspects included fields for domestic shipments. The platform needed to be integrated with Linnworks + Easypost = NewAPI (Needs to work based on webhook + event listener) and the technology used included Laravel and MySQL.
We assembled a team to complete this project within 3 months.
With the integration in place. Linnworks now had access to 200+ carriers on their platform. Which removed logistical complexities, created subsational improvements to Shipping and Returns, and provided global shipping at reasonable prices.
